I love the food here, it's a little pricy, but the taste and value is worth it.

sadly ive ate here so much since coming to statesboro they know what i order. great staff!

Noodle lovers beware, everything else very good.I was somewhat disappointed to see they didn't serve ramen, however they do serve udon so I tried it. Unfortunately it did not meet expectations.The good: noodles were soft and chewy and generally tasty, all the ingredients tasted fresh. The bad: the broth was virtually flavorless, the egg was fried instead of a soft boiled marinated egg and the "toppings" did not compliment the soup very well IMO. They were all regular hibachi veggies. Perhaps I was expecting too much but I have already tried good udon so this was just disappointing.Redeeming quality: The Choose 2 lunch menu was an excellent value and everything it included was good.

I really don't understand the glowing reviews here. Service was mediocre at best, food was boring, restaurant was dirty. If you want good Asian food, go to Soyumi or Orchid. Don't come here.

This restaurant stays busy and once you try the food you will know why!They probably have the best sushi in Statesboro.My favorite is the super snow crab roll.Give them a try - you won’t regret it!

Really enjoyed this. The prices beat the heck out of L.A. or Phoenix prices. Hibachi Filet and shrimp was like $16.95. Soup, salad, edamame and side of scallops were good. My only concern was the filet looked to be sirloin and was a bit over med-rare. Would go again.

Save your money & go to SoYumi. Service was absolutely horrible and the food was alright. Every single time we asked for something the server would forget. My husband order a drink & we asked for a refill on coke, that I ended up having to go to the counter & ask for because it was never brought to us. My food showed up way after everyone else’s. We also asked the server what sushi was what on the plate and she said she would go ask .. & never returned until it was time for checks... it really made our entire dinner unpleasant.

Delicious, affordable bento and hibachi lunches. Delicate icecream mochi. Great place for a romantic dinner. Also: best sushi in Statesboro!

Came in and I was seated and served almost immediately. The atmosphere is calm and the staff are really friendly. The food was prepared relatively quickly and was really good.

I love this place for a number of reasons. The staff, most of whom I suspect are students at Georgia Southern, are so nice and pleasant to be around that any shortcomings in service are effortlessly overlooked. They really are great. The sushi is also very good. You will likely be impressed by the quality to cost ratio........ which is very good!

I absolutely loved this place. My partner and I got the dinner for two with hibachi shrimp, the dragon roll, the cowboy roll, and I had miso soup while he had hibachi soup. Everything new that I ate literally made me moan with happiness. This is the best sushi that I've had in my life. Also, our server was fantastic. She answered questions and checked on us, filled up my partner's drink a lot. I highly recommend this place. Three hours later and I'm still happily satisfied.

Decent little place in town to grab some hibachi (a little overpriced) and some AMAZING pot stickers. Service may be a little slow but if you have time, go for it.

Hands down best Japanese in Statesboro. Love the atmosphere love the service. Fresh sushi. Been going here for years and it's only gotten better. Never had a problem with the food shrimp is always meticulously devained. Also single dinner friendly or group friendly.

Great food! They're so fast and you don't have to wait for your food like at some places. They fix it fresh and it's made to order. With hibachi lunch specials you get fried rice, stir fry vegetables, salad or soup. Quick pick-up if you're taking it home. Or you can dine in for a relaxed dinner date. The best Japanese in the Boro!

Yaki Soba, teriyaki chicken, sushi is always on point here. We have a few Japanese places in town but this one is my favorite.
